SARC Education Foundation has initiated a three-day training program in Mahendranagar aimed at enhancing teachers’ professional development and instructional competence. Organized at the start of the new academic session, the first day of the training saw the active participation of 50 teachers.

In the inaugural session, Dr. Laxman Basnet, Executive Director of the Foundation, facilitated in-depth discussions on various aspects of the integrated curriculum. He engaged teachers in interactive group activities and emphasized the importance of student-centered teaching methods. “The curriculum must foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity among students,” stated Dr. Basnet.

Ashok Raj Khati, a representative of the Foundation, expressed confidence that the training would support teachers in annual planning, adopting effective teaching strategies, and making classroom instruction more impactful. He said, “This training is part of our regular annual program and plays a significant role in strengthening the teaching profession.”

Over the three-day training period, experts from various fields will facilitate sessions on classroom teaching techniques, student assessment systems, and the use of innovative educational technologies.

Participating teachers described the first day of the training as highly useful, informative, and inspiring. Upon completion of the training, participants will be awarded certificates and will have the opportunity to implement the knowledge gained in their classrooms.

SARC Education Foundation aims to continue organizing such training programs to make the teaching profession more effective and empowered.
